The NFL will announce its full 2022 season on Thursday, May 12, but “select games” will be announced before that, possibly including an early announcement for a Denver Broncos game this week.
On Monday, May 9, ESPN will announce a select game during Good Morning America. With Russell Wilson now the team’s quarterback, the Broncos will be a top candidate for Monday Night Football this fall.
On May 10, CBS will announce a game during CBS Mornings. After that, a Fox game will be announced on FOX & Friends on May 11. NBC will later announce a game during the Today Show on May 12.
Every NFL team will also announce their first home game opponent at 4 p.m. MT on May 12 ahead of the full schedule announcement at 6 p.m. MT. So if the Broncos have a “select game” announced this week followed by a home opener announcement, we could know three of Denver’s games before the full reveal on Thursday.
We already know the Broncos will play the Jacksonville Jaguars in London in Week 8, and we also know all of the team’s opponents. Stay tuned for more to come this week.
