Denver Broncos coach Vic Fangio provided injury updates for several players Friday, including wide receiver Courtland Sutton (knee).
“Courtland’s doing good,” Fangio said on Jan. 1. “I’ve talked to him a few times here recently. He came up to see me one day, he’s where he should be at in this phase of his recovery. He’s doing very, very well, and his attitude is great. He’s attacking it.”
Fangio also said he was uncertain if outside linebacker Von Miller (ankle) and cornerback Bryce Callahan (foot) will rehab at the facility this offseason.
“Sometimes some of these injuries don’t take extensive rehab, they take just time,” the coach said. “I think both of those kind of fall in that category a little bit, but we will keep abreast of them and their rehab and what they need to do.”
Fangio said Callahan will not need surgery and he does not believe defensive lineman Shelby Harris (knee) will have to undergo surgery either.
Broncos coaches and front office staff will work at the facility early next week before the UCHealth Training Center is shut down midweek for an undetermined time frame. After the facility closes, coaches and staff members will continue working remotely and on Zoom.
