Earlier this week, The Athletic‘s Dane Brugler released a seven-round mock draft predicting all 257 picks in the 2024 NFL draft, including eight picks for the Denver Broncos.
Brugler has the Broncos adding two offensive linemen, one tight end, one cornerback, one wide receiver, one defensive lineman, one linebacker and one quarterback. Yes, the QB dilemma is solved.
After taking a top tackle prospect at No. 12, Brugler has Denver selecting South Carolina quarterback Spencer Rattler when they go back on the clock in the third round with pick No. 76.
Caleb Williams (No. 1), Jayden Daniels (No. 2), Drake Maye (No. 3), J.J. McCarthy (No. 4) go off the board right away and the Broncos decide to pass on Michael Penix (No. 29) and Bo Nix (No. 52). Rattler is the seventh QB to go off the board, above Michael Pratt (No. 107).
