Following a one-score loss on the road to the Atlanta Falcons in Week 9, the Denver Broncos remain in third place in AFC West standings. Here’s a look at the division’s updated standings entering Week 10:
|Kansas City Chiefs||8-1||.889|
|Las Vegas Raiders||5-3||.625|
|Los Angeles Chargers||2-6||.250|
The Broncos won’t be able to catch up to the Las Vegas Raiders if they beat them this week, but they would draw closer to the No. 2 spot. With an extra Wild Card seed in each conference this year, Denver still has a chance — albeit a slim chance — to reach the playoffs.
After facing the Raiders on Sunday, the Broncos will have additional division games against the Kansas City Chiefs (Week 13), Los Angeles Chargers (Week 16) and Las Vegas (Week 17). Those AFC West contests could be the deciding factor for Denver’s postseason hopes.
