After using their one pick on Day 1 of the 2024 NFL draft to select Oregon quarterback Bo Nix, the Denver Broncos now have one pick (No. 76 overall) to use on Day 2.
That’s the 12th pick in the third round — Denver does not hold a second-round pick this year after trading it to the New Orleans Saints in 2023 in exchange for the rights to coach Sean Payton.
The Broncos, of course, could trade into the second round. Of note, there have been reports that teams have called Denver about the possibility of trading for receiver Courtland Sutton.
After checking quarterback off their list of draft needs, the Broncos can now turn their attention toward other positions like pass rusher, defensive line, tight end and running back.
Courtesy of Draft Wire’s Curt Popejoy, here’s a list of the top 50 prospects available going into Day 2. Forty-three players will be picked before Denver goes on the clock so, in theory, at least seven of these players should be available when the Broncos pick in the third round.
