Denver Broncos general manager George Paton prefers to have 10 picks going into a draft, but as of June 2022, the team only has five picks to use in 2023. That’s in part a result of a massive trade for quarterback Russell Wilson earlier this offseason.
“We have five [picks] next year. We’ll have a lot more than that, I guarantee it, by the time the draft comes around,” Paton said after this year’s draft.
