The Denver Broncos have drafted cornerback Kris Abrams-Draine in the fifth round of the 2024 NFL Draft. It’s time to look at some highlights!
In the fifth round of the 2024 NFL Draft, the Denver Broncos used their first selection in the fifth round at No. 145 on Missouri cornerback Kris Abrams-Draine. Abrams-Draine figures to play plenty of special teams as a rookie, but could end up being a good pick up for Denver’s defense long-term
The ball-hawking cornerback made up for a general lack of athleticism with smart, instinctual play. In his final two seasons at Missouri he amassed 99 total tackles and finished his career with seven interceptions and a fumble recovery to go along with 34 total passes defensed. He also had a kick return for a touchdown and averaged over 20 yards per return in 29 kick returns.
Welcome to Denver, Kris!
