Bill Schmidt Will Not Return As Rockies’ GM
The Rockies announced Wednesday that general manager Bill Schmidt is stepping down from his post. While Schmidt and the team framed it as a mutual parting of ways, Patrick Saunders of the Denver Post reports that Schmidt was fired.
